COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULTS

The College/Young Adult Ministry exists to facilitate that transitional stage between high school and adulthood with a healthy and supportive, gospel-centered outreach.

Often, this critical stage of growth is undernourished, which is why Christ followers tend to see a dip in their spiritual growth during this stage of life.

At North Orange Christian Church,
we understand the need to
connect with others, seek guidance, and grow in faith during this time of life.
That is why we have created a budding ministry that aims at accomplishing such tasks.

Who is this for? People from ages 18-25
What is our mission? To have young adults continue to carry out their faith in the Lord.
What do we do? We meet on Sundays in Orange from 6:30-8:30pm. For more information please contact Moriah Tucker via email at mtucker@nocc.org.

Current Study: Adulting

After strenuous studies, you walk across the stage, gripping your diploma—you’ve arrived. Adult at last. But all of a sudden, instead of a diploma you hold a paycheck in one hand and a stack of bills in the other. You find yourself swimming in the treacherous seas of adulthood surrounded by 401ks, insurance, bosses, potential spouses, and everything in between. How can you begin to navigate your 20s and 30s, and still honor God in the process?

In this 6-part series, pastor Jonathan Pokluda speaks to young adults on the art of “adulting” for Christ. He’ll walk through how to discern God’s will for your life right now and specify how you can best glorify Him through your career, relationships, and commitments.
